Laurel Turner, her daughter Kizzy, and son-in-law Marvin Hatcher were among other families that were displaced and relocated to the Pittsburgh area. Laurel Turner appreciates the generosity and support she and her family received when she arrived. For this reason, Laurel and her family wanted to give back to the Pittsburgh area by establishing their restaurant in East Pittsburgh - The Taste Of New Orleans (TONO).
